It was a tight squeeze this year getting Tanner's pinewood derby car ready this year! Between illness and travel we managed to do it in less than 24 hours-though NOT recommend! Last year Tanner won the whole thing with the fastest time! This year-18th!! (of 19...ahem!) He had fun though decorating his car with the cool vinyl cutouts that Grandma made for him-skulls, bones and lightning bolts! And of course we still celebrated with Arctic Circle milkshakes!!!

Emma wanted a 'car' of her own-so she painted the cutoff top piece from last year's car!
She does have wheels on it now!
