Popcorn Popping on our Apricot Tree!!!

We came back from Idaho to find Spring really trying to arrive. It has been so cold for so long. I decided to take some pictures of our lovely tree during our family home evening activities we had outside while it was nice for a little while. I spent most of the day today outside again doing yard work trying to convince myself that warmer weather might actually get here...I hear otherwise! I just want to be outside puttering around in the dirt!!! It is very relaxing to me and allows my mind to clear in the quietness...I love it! I have been feeling a lot of anxiety lately about gearing up to be the PTA president next year at the kid's school and being outside not thinking about it helps. I'll probably find myself outside A LOT for a while!

13 Year Rewind

This past weekend we were in Rexburg, Idaho to attend Ben's brother Mike's graduation from BYU-Idaho. It was great to wander the familiar hallways were we fell in love. We were able to surprise our Business Advisor/Teacher/Mentor/Friend as he was teaching a class. It was great to rewind 13 years and reconnect with the past. The graduation was really great and we enjoyed spending time with Ben's brothers and parents. We loved the new temple in Rexburg-it is so beautiful-just really too windy/cold for good pictures. The really funny thing was when we were out to eat after graduation and our meal was done our waitress turned to Ben and said "I take it your the one who is graduating" (his two younger brothers, and Mike's friend Mo-and me-were sitting there!!!) It was too funny! We all pointed to Mike to correct her! HELLO! He does get that quite a bit-I guess he just has a baby face- but come on! Mike will be living with us at our house for a few months, trying to find a job/internship/wife!

Easter #3

The kids had a great time at G&G Livingstone's for the annual Easter egg hunt. Both Jace and Tanner found the coveted silver egg in their age groups. It was great fun as usual...just REALLY cold...brrrrrr!
