Tanner got his Bear last night at the annual Pack Meeting up the canyon at South Fork. It was a beautiful night...I was freezing-didn't even think it's time to take a jacket up there! Everyone did great skits! Ben was hilarious as Mad Scientist and assistant Igor! And Lauren...after a fun night!

Emma's First Day of Kindergarten!
As per Emma she chose her own outfit for her first day of school...Mom tried to negotiate some changes but there was no happenin! Emma has been so excited about starting school! I didn't even think to take pictures of the other kids on their first day with all of the craziness-but I saw some cute pictures on Marcie's of the SECOND day of school! I can't believe all of our kids are in school now!

Happy Anniversary to Us!
Okay, so Ben has been hounding me that I didn't post our Anniversary...really!:/ If we posted everything we do I wouldn't get anything else done! So I will tuck it in! Our Anniversary fell during the first week of school. Thank you G&G and Aunt Marcie for having the kids! We had planned last year that we would stay at Marriott's Summit Watch Resort in Park City for four days. While there we attended a time share schpeel which was fine and they gave us a $100 gift card to the outlets. They had fantastic sales-which you all know I love a good deal-and we made out like bandits! We rode on the town lift, shopped Main St., went to the local Farmer's Market at the Canyon's, finished my book, shopped in Heber and Midway and RELAXED! It was great! It wasn't the best timing- as getting everything ready for back to school as PTA President is craziness but I guess it was the calm before the storm-which was so nice!

Schmucked!!!
Last Friday while Jace was at school I decided to take the other kids, Emree and Tanner's friend Issac to see a movie...one last hurrah before school Monday. So we had noticed about week before that the new intersection was open near the new theatre that is going up by University mall and decided we would go that way instead of driving through the mall parking lot. Long story short-new intersection, city's first day of 'testing' new never before seen traffic signals (yellow flashing arrow), no sinage, no comprehendo, el schmucko! So we are without our van until it gets fixed. (We were hit right on the new tire-no less!!!) I imagine it will be a long process getting everything fixed-we have never been in an accident before so we are not quite sure how long everything takes and how it will all shake down-but it just makes more for more excitement in our already busy lives! Luckily Ben and I leave tomorrow for rest of the week to Park City to celebrate our 13th anniversary-Thanks G&G for watching the kids! We need a little r&r!

O Canada!
We had a fabulous time at the reunion and missed everyone who couldn't come! We loved visiting, eating too many delicious cookies (thanks Jen!), scrumptious Canadian beef and laughing too hard during the games! What fun! The auction was fantastic! So many great things...and especially the multitude of Webkins! The picture of Lauren has the two she and Emma earned doing a job for Aunt Jayne. I think we came home with 10 or 11 new Webkinz! Mom did a great job of the program to celebrate Grandpa's 80th birthday...I loved the DVD and what everyone contributed and especially when Grandpa stood and told us so many stories I had never heard before. I was amazed at how the little kids just sat and listened so quietly for such a long time! We were so glad to have been able to go! And of course no Canada trip would be complete without a little antique shopping and travel drama! Lauren's carsickness, flat tire & check engine light made our 12 hour trip home 15 hours instead! The kids did great (TV and Wii came along in the van to play) and everyone had a great time! They can hardly wait until next time!
