Okay, back to the 4th...We had a very delicious steak bbq at G&G Livingstone's after sleeping in until 10am not even wishing I had gotten up to see the runners! Sorry ladies...but WAY TO GO!!! I told them all that I would have to be scraped of the asphalt with a spatula had I made the attempt to do either the 5K or 10K! Any 'K' for that matter! I am so proud of those that did and I'll leave it at that...in the future I will still make no attempt to run:) Anyway after the bbq the kids had a great time in the pool and on the slip and slide. I had taken the kids over on the 3rd and they just loved playing in G&G's pool. Jumping out of the trees and off the trampoline into the pool...very brave with Grandpa's encouragement!!!

The day finally arrived to see 'Miley Cyrus' at Stadium of Fire! The girls have been counting down the days! We decided to arrive early and park a ways away to avoid parking lot congestion. We got there around 6pm (it started at 8pm) and there were several people already there but we got in very quickly! We got some snacks and of course the girls kept asking "is Miley Cyrus here? when does Miley Cyrus come out?" It was pretty long wait for 3 little girls (of course we had Halle with us) but they did great. We had great seats and had a great time! We were surprised that the sound system was terrible but the fireworks at the end made it all worth it! We especially loved the 2 of the 6 parachuters that dropped into the stadium RIGHT above our heads! Of course I thought the fighter jets fly by was the BEST! (I think I would lay out side all day if I had fighter jets going full bore over my head all the time!) Anyway fun was had by all! It was a really late night and I wished I had taken a before and after picture of the kids. They were all cute decked out in their 4th of July stuff early in the day and by the end of the night the strawberry stains, dirty faces, crazy ash laden hair, very red and tired eyes would have made for a memorable shot! We read that we were NOT to take cameras but everyone else did! So Ben took a few pictures with one of his Centros.

Mom was telling me about the concert, how neat! We're sad we couldn't be there this weekend, but we'll be there tonight, hopefully around 8:30, 9pm. We're anxious to see everyone!
Cute pics! It was so fun to see you guys!
