This year Mother's Day came early! I got to go to BYU's Women's Conference for 2 days and had a fabulous time listening to wonderful talks and inspirational messages! I LOVED it! (We really ought to do it one year for our girls' retreat!) After President Monson's message Friday, Ben picked me up. He had made reservations at Chef's Table for dinner. We had a DELICIOUS time! Our friend Kent is the 4-star chef/owner there. It was fun to chat with him and relax and eat DELICIOUS food! While I had left to go to the bathroom before we were served I came back to a little blue box beside my plate. Ben had bought me some very sparkly earrings we had tried to find for some time. I was so excited. What a surprise! The next day we finally made a fire pit area in the yard and have enjoyed roasting various things...another thing I should take pictures of! The next weekend, the actual Mother's Day weekend, was so crazy busy I was glad to get spoiled the week before! Friday was our big PTA carnival fundraiser...I guess I should have taken some pictures...the kids had a great time on the rides and winning prizes playing games. Ben and I had been asked to speak in church on Mother's Day. It was also my week to do sharing time and conduct in Primary! Saturday, I should mention was our annual HOA breakfast/meeting! That doesn't mean anything to any of you-but ours become somewhat stressful shall we say-this one inparticular. Well, I got breakfast in bed- YUMMY strawberry crepes!!! Ben has gotten so good at making them over the years! Then we had a great time getting together at Barclay's to give Grandma Livingstone her presents.
I have such wonderful Mothers who I just love so much! Love you! Love you!
(I'll try to remember to take some pictures.)

I didn't even take this picture-but here is one of us girls out for lunch for Mindy's birthday! We are going to see Stephanie Meyer Friday evening!!! Very exciting!!!

Way to go, Ben! Nice job! I think Women's Conference would be a wondeful girls retreat. You could be in charge of it next year. :) So happy you had a great Mother's day! Love you all!
I hear the Women's Conference is very good. Your experience at Chef's Table is so cute. You will have to write it down in a family journal.
I love Emma's outfits. There was a clip on the news that said parents should let their children dress themselves and pick out their outfits; it helps the child with creativity and self confidence. Hence, I have given in to let Blake buy Spiderman shoes, which he absolutely loves!
How fun to go to women's conference. That would make a fun girls retreat. How sweet of Ben to get you those earrings. I'm excited to see them. A fun read! love ya!
